The surface of this perfectly matte urn feels like sandstone, a natural texture and appearance without all the fuss of hewing it from a cliff. It's lightweight and elegant, perfect to honor the life of a pet or person who loved the outdoors. The color is muted yellow-orange similar to ochre minerals found in sedimentary rock. Red-brown undertones give the surface depth and visual interest.
The slim lid fits snugly and will come with a special wax sealant on the inside of the urn opening to help keep it in place even if the urn is accidentally bumped.
